BRIDGETON-- A Cumberland County grand jury indicted five men Wednesday for their involvement in a shooting that struck a house and wounded an Upper Deerfield resident.
The shooting occurred on Aug. 8 on Pearson Road in Upper Deerfield Township. A house was struck by bullets and the resident suffered minor injuries. Artem B. Sych, 19, of East Chestnut Avenue, in Vineland, was indicted on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. Dandray A. Lewis, 20, of Chiari Lane, in Upper Deerfield Township, was indicted on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. Burglar hits deli twice, State Police say Ricky J. Williams, 19, of North 4th Street, in Vineland, was indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and weapons possession. Sharay R. Palmer, 20, of West Almond Street, in Vineland, was indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and weapons possession. Tyrone O. Ellis, 23, of 1st Avenue, in Bridgeton, was indicted on charges of attempted murder and weapons possession. Lewis is being held in the Cumberland County Jail. Don E.
